We offer the following 3 boarding services at the farm:
Outdoor Board - Inquire for pricing
Includes: shelter for inclement weather, heated water in the winter, hay and grain. Owner must provide supplements. Horses are housed in small groups of no more than 4 horses and matched based on various factors.
Indoor Board - Inquire for pricing
Includes: daily turnout, quality wood shavings, hay and grain morning and night with paddock rotation. Unlimited blanket changes are included.
Hybrid Indoor Board - Geriatric/ Retired Horse Care - Inquire - Custom Packages
Includes all the advantages of Indoor Board, plus complete nutritional assessment, individualized health program developed by our nutritionist, veterinarian and farrier. On-site therapeutic services for managing chronic ailments to ensure equine wellbeing.

Our facility deploys equine welfare, biosecurity and infectious disease protocols to ensure the wellbeing of all animals on the property. All staff are certified in Emergency Equine First Aid and follow the National Farm Animal Care Council's code of practice for the care, handling and operation of an equine facility. We offer on-site parasite testing, and an comprehensive herd health program, promoting individualized nutritional health as the basis of the program. Our vaccination program is an added cost per year, of approx. $150.00 for core vaccinations which are done in the springtime and through our stable veterinarian. Farrier care with our on-staff farrier is $40.00 for barefoot trims, and on an individual pricing basis for shoeing with a certified farrier, this is completed every 4, 5, 6 or 7 weeks. Our boarding business focuses on the rehabilitation of injured horses and the care for retired competition and geriatric horses, however, we accept horses of all ages at Chriscon.

Centrally located 15 minutes from Brockville and 5 minutes to Prescott, we boast a 12,000 square foot indoor arena, half mile stone dust track, 75 foot round pen, paddocks have their own run-in shelter and are connected to a network of rotational grazing paddocks. We also feature heated water troughs with direct underground water supply to each paddock, an outdoor grass arena, heated tackroom/kitchenette and more. Our clients also have access to an online portal for viewing their billing.

Our dedicated team of professionals are here to keep your horse healthy and happy. Each horse is an individual and is treated as such. It couldn’t be easier for our owners- we can handle everything. As a part of our routine health care management, all our horses receive regular visits from the farrier and veterinarian, as well as the chiropractor, massage therapist and other professionals on an preventative or as-needed basis.
